I'm so thrilled to be partnering up with Tobi to share some of my favorite pieces in conjunction with some of my favorite hangout spots.
While many New Yorkers are staying cozy in their homes, I try to get out, explore and enjoy what the city has to offer.
For my first set of photos (taken during one of those really cold days during New York Fashion Week), I chose one of the many quiet cobblestone streets in Soho. Many of the streets are filled with so much beauty from the most breathtaking street style, to boutiques on boutiques on boutiques. Pretty much any fashion giant has a store in Soho neighboring next to a few local gems as well. I end up here almost every weekend, walking around, exploring all the little alleyways, nooks and crannies this neighborhood has to offer. I also work in Soho, so I've definitely grown an attachment to it.
TOP 3 PLACES TO SHOP IN SOHO
And Other Stories: Located right on Broadway, I walked by this place a few times on my way to work from the Subway. When I finally went in OMG. It's a more refined and minimalist version of Zara. I know, it's hard to even imagine something better than Zara. But in all honesty, it's much better. Similar price range but some things can be a little bit more expensive. Also, fun fact: And Other Stories is owned by H&M. This kind of turned down the awe factor for me, but they are two very different stores. There's none located in Washington, yet. So all you Seattleites (or anyone else without one) can shop them online at www.stories.com.
Kith NYC/Atrium: This is a men's store. Located a little North on Broadway and it's so cool! First you walk into Atrium and I will say, it's a tad bit expensive. But to me it says Kanye. They had really nice men's outerwear with fur collars. The second I wandered in there a few weeks ago, I texted Matt and was like I'm going to bring you to this store, and you're going to shoot yourself. And last weekend when I did, he was pretty hyped lol. But again, it's for young affluent men. An Yves Salomon jacket Matt fell in love with was $2,400.. In the back corner of Atrium however is a motion censored glass door. I had no idea what it led to and asked the sales associate if I could go in lmao. She was like yeah.. and so I went in and it was a whole different world. Super futuristic and clean merchandising. What they offered? A few pieces of clothing, but mainly sneakers <3 All for men, of course. I snagged Matt a pair of black and white Air Max 90's for Valentine's Day and he loved them! What I loved most about the store was the design. They really paid attention to detail.
3NY: Two words: Australian labels. What I love most about this mini-chain(3 stores throughout Manhattan) is that their selection of clothing is purely New York. They've brought in the best of what's trending and the buyer seriously is my soul animal(I dont know you, but I want to). Definitely a boutique to stop by. I visited the one in Nolita and I just love how small and dainty it is, yet it's filled with SUCH good finds. Their site is under construction right now but you can shop them on Shoptiques!
